Requirements

  • 2-3 years of management/supervisory experience in a food and beverage role is required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills
  • Experience supervising others and leading a team
  • Excellent customer skills

  • May step in and support in key positions as needed during shoulder seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead staff to ensure quality service is delivered.
  • Continually follow up to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner and to the appropriate standards and that tools and equipment are operating properly.
  • Ensure staff receive proper safety and job skills training through group training, on-the-job training, communication, meetings, etc.
  • Assist in the selection, development, leadership and retention of talented food and beverage staff.
  • Assist in ensuring that financial targets are being met, and appropriate accounting procedures are being followed consistently.
  • Ensure food and beverage staff are providing excellent guest service.
  • Maintain constant communication between departments and keep other departments informed about special programs and events.
