About The Position

The F&B Cashier for The Buffet at Excalibur provides fast, friendly, and accurate service while processing cash and credit transactions in accordance with casino and regulatory standards. The position supports Food and Beverage operations by maintaining accurate registers, stocking specialty areas such as the bakery, keeping stations clean, and collaborating with the team to deliver excellent guest service.

The role includes greeting guests, responding to questions about menu items, promotions, and casino offerings, and resolving or escalating concerns. The cashier processes cash, credit, vouchers, player comps, and promotional transactions; balances the cash drawer and reconciles sales at the beginning and end of each shift; and follows company policies, gaming regulations, and cash-handling procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a cashier in a retail or Food and Beverage environment.

• Prior experience with the InfoGenesis system.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional guest service by greeting guests and addressing questions about menu items, promotions, or casino offerings.
• Resolve guest concerns or escalate them as needed.
• Accurately process cash, credit, voucher, player comp, and promotional transactions.
• Balance the cash drawer and reconcile sales at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Follow company policies, gaming regulations, and cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of workstations and surrounding areas.
• Stock specialty areas such as the bakery.
