About The Position

The F&B Attendant at Casino del Mar provides food and beverage service while helping create a welcoming, polished guest experience. The role includes greeting guests, responding to their service needs, maintaining the service area, and ensuring restaurant standards are met. The attendant must know menu items and preparation methods, handle cashiering and closing duties, and follow company safety and security procedures. This position requires hospitality experience, bilingual Spanish and English communication, and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Hospitality-oriented.
Previous experience as an attendant or in a similar role in a restaurant or bar in the hospitality industry.
Ability to handle difficult situations effectively.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

Welcome and acknowledge guests according to restaurant standards, anticipate their needs, and address service requests.
Serve food and beverage orders to guests.
Complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, deliver receipts, and secure the bank.
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
Follow the Steps of Service.
Secure liquor, beer, wine, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
Complete closing duties.
Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the service area and restaurant.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Check the assigned station before opening for clean tables and chairs and proper tabletop setup.
Have necessary work equipment, such as a tray, pen, and corkscrew.
Learn menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods, and answer guest questions about the menu clearly and concisely.
Follow company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a supervisor, and complete safety training and certifications.
Develop positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, and protect confidential proprietary information.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
