About The Position

The F&B Applebee team member is responsible for washing restaurant equipment and utensils and assisting with maintenance of the kitchen area. The position supports guest service, food safety, sanitation, and compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal, and other laws and gaming regulations, as well as Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures. The role may also assist cooks and prep cooks with simple tasks based on business needs. The team member must demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills, protect confidential information, complete assigned training, and monitor compliance with property anti-money-laundering policies. Duties may change based on organizational needs, and other duties may be assigned. This role works in the back of the house, on the casino floor, and in a normal office setting. It involves frequent walking and standing in a smoke-filled environment, regular contact with the public, varying temperatures and noise levels, and possible exposure to difficult guest or staff situations and different types of lighting. Extended hours and irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required. Travel may be required. Employment requires the ability to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including passing the required background check; keeping required documents current and valid; authorization to work in the United States; being at least 18 years old; reliable transportation; and compliance with the KLEC handbook, internal policies and procedures, and gaming regulations.

Requirements

Experience in dishwashing or food and beverage venues is preferred.
English communication skills, both written and oral, are preferred.

Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission License, including successful completion of a background check, and keep required documents current and valid.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and at least 18 years of age.
Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
Must comply with the KLEC handbook, internal policies and procedures, and applicable gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

Wash silverware, dishes, cooking utensils, equipment, and displays.
Operate dishwashing machines and compartment or industrial sinks.
Clean assigned kitchens by sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning walk-in coolers and freezers, and keeping kitchen areas free of debris.
Empty trash receptacles and replace bags or liners.
Regularly exchange dish-machine water and remove debris from garbage-disposal systems according to approved practices.
Clean and sanitize items so they can be reused without contamination risk.
Maintain dishwashing machines and compartment sinks in proper working order while following safety precautions.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food racks, food bins, dry-storage racks, garbage cans, receiving docks, loading areas, and chemical-storage rooms.
Restock plates, cups, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils.
Follow MSDS criteria and food and product safety practices.
Assist cooks and prep cooks with simple tasks based on business needs.
Listen and respond appropriately to guest and team-member concerns and questions.
Comply with applicable laws, gaming regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Demonstrate and promote KLECH core values and MAD skills.
Maintain the security of confidential information entrusted to the position.
Attend and satisfactorily complete required training.
Monitor compliance with property-established anti-money-laundering policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
