Extrusion Saw Operator(midnights)-Livonia
About The Position
The Extrusion Saw Operator position is a midnight shift role, working from 11 PM to 7 AM, six days a week. This role involves reviewing work orders to prepare the workflow, operating a saw with precise gauge settings, and verifying cut lengths using appropriate measuring tools. The operator will also use a saw crane to place materials in racks and may be required to stretch extrusions as needed. This position demands punctuality, excellent attendance, and the physical ability to perform duties such as extensive standing/walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting up to 75 pounds, using hand tools, and working in extreme temperatures.
Requirements
- Working experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have excellent attendance and work ethic.
- Commute to multiple company facilities and personnel, as needed.
- Engages in self-learning keeping up with industry trends, safety, and company information, as needed.
