About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Saw Operator to join our business. This job covers a wide range of assignments that are involved with the day to day operation of the saw and handling material.
Requirements
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane utilizing pendant or radio controls
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Responsible for providing error free work to all external and internal customers
- Applicant must successfully pass all components of the physical requirements of the position
- Must be able to distinguish color, regardless of position of colors
Responsibilities
- Operation of saw
- Operation of 10 ton overhead crane
- Operation of in-feed and out-feed conveyor system
- Operation of forklift
- Pulling / staging product
- Stacking and banding processed material
- Lifting of processed parts (40lbs or less)
- Lifting of overhead chains / hooks
- Maintaining saw and conveyor system
