About The Position
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Extra Help Assistant for the Arkansas Space Grant Consortium. The assistant will work on tasks and projects assigned by SEET professor Dr. Abushaiba, including power system modeling, MATLAB/Simulink simulations, data logging, and AI algorithm testing for resilient power electronics. The position is governed by state and federal laws and agency and institutional policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a UA Little Rock Engineering or Engineering Tech program.
- Clearly communicate orally and in writing.
- Basic knowledge of electronics and Computer Engineering Tech-related equipment.
- Ability to listen and follow directions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the program’s projects and research.
- Complete assigned tasks within the given timeline.
- Follow lab rules.
- Assist with power system modeling, MATLAB/Simulink simulations, data logging, and AI algorithm testing for resilient power electronics.
