About The Position
UA Little Rock is seeking to hire an Extra Help Assistant. The Extra Help Assistant position will work on assigned tasks and projects by the SEET professor, Dr. Abushaiba, including assisting with power system modeling, MATLAB/Simulink simulations, data logging, and AI algorithm testing for resilient power electronics. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled in a UA Little Rock Engineering or Engineering Tech program
- Ability to clearly communicate with oral and written information
- Basic knowledge of using Electronics and Computer Engineering Tech-related equipment
- Ability to listen and follow directions
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the program’s projects and research
- Completing the assigned tasks in the given timeline
- Following the lab rules
