About The Position
The Extra Help Assistant will work on tasks assigned by the SEET professor, Dr. Ghosh, for projects involving mechanical engineering and materials science applications, including tribology and materials characterization. The position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. The role is temporary (fixed term) and offers a $3,000 stipend.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a University of Arkansas at Little Rock Engineering or Engineering Technology program.
- Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
- Basic knowledge of using Mechanical Engineering Technology-related equipment.
- Ability to listen and follow directions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with conducting research.
- Complete assigned tasks within the given timeline.
- Follow laboratory rules.
