About The Position

Lee & Cates Surface CPR is hiring a dependable, hardworking Exterior Cleaning Technician for hands-on residential and commercial exterior cleaning. The role involves soft washing, pressure washing, and routine cleaning of exterior surfaces. The company is willing to train a candidate who has a strong work ethic, is reliable, and wants to learn a skilled trade. Experience with specialty surface maintenance is a plus but is not required. The position is full-time in Jacksonville, Florida, and surrounding areas. Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. The technician can develop skills in paver sealing, concrete coatings, and wood staining and sealing, with training available.

Requirements

Be able to work outdoors in Florida weather and perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with paver cleaning, joint-sand replacement, and sealing.
Experience with concrete cleaning, staining, and sealing.
Experience with exterior wood cleaning, staining, and sealing.
Experience with surface preparation and protective coatings.
Experience in pressure washing, soft washing, property maintenance, painting, landscaping, or related construction work.

Responsibilities

Perform residential and commercial exterior cleaning using soft-wash and pressure-wash systems.
Clean driveways, sidewalks, patios, pool decks, building exteriors, and other exterior surfaces.
Safely operate and care for pressure washers, soft-wash systems, surface cleaners, and related equipment.
Select appropriate cleaning methods and solutions for different surface types and project needs.
Prepare job sites and protect landscaping, surrounding areas, and customer property.
Follow procedures for chemical handling, equipment use, and job-site safety.
Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
Assist with specialty surface maintenance services as needed.
