About The Position

Ford of Latham is hiring an Automotive Lube Technician to perform vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards. This is an on-site position in Latham, New York, with a full-time schedule that includes Saturdays. The role reports to the service manager. The technician performs minor maintenance and complete vehicle inspections, and communicates appropriate repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison. The estimated annual compensation is $35,000 to $65,000; actual pay may vary based on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, bonus or commission, and location. Requirements

New York State Inspector's License required.
Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
Ability to operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, including vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
Be a team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Experience as an express or quick-lube technician preferred.

Responsibilities
