Express Lube Technician
About The Position
Diehl Chevrolet of North Hills is seeking a motivated and dependable Express Lube Technician for its automotive service team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role performs routine maintenance and basic vehicle inspections in a busy Chevrolet dealership service department. It is suitable for an entry-level candidate or an experienced automotive service worker; prior related experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate. The position offers training and development, including Chevrolet/GM training opportunities, and potential advancement toward becoming a Certified Automotive Service Technician.

- Previous experience as an Express Technician, Quick Lube Technician, Lube Technician, Oil Change Technician, Tire Technician, Automotive Technician, Mechanic, or Automotive Service Technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes.
- Rotate, balance, and inspect tires.
- Check and top off vehicle fluids.
- Inspect brakes, tires, belts, hoses, filters, and other maintenance items.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance services and multi-point vehicle inspections.
- Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and other maintenance components.
- Check tire pressure and tread depth.
- Identify potential maintenance and repair needs and communicate service recommendations to Service Advisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow Chevrolet and dealership service procedures.
- Complete assigned services accurately and efficiently.
- Help provide customers with a professional, high-quality service experience.
