Express Lube Technician
About The Position
Hill Country Honda, part of Lithia & Driveway, is hiring an on-site Express Lube Technician in Paramus, New Jersey. The technician performs assigned vehicle maintenance according to dealership and factory standards, including minor maintenance and complete vehicle inspections. The role reports to the Service Manager and includes communicating vehicle maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. The workplace is drug-free, and the company is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
- At least 1 year of experience as an express or quick lube technician.
- Ability to operate cars, light trucks, and vans with manual and automatic transmissions.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned vehicle maintenance in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Perform minor maintenance, such as changing engine oil and filters.
- Complete vehicle maintenance inspections, including checking tires, brakes, and fluid levels.
- Communicate appropriate customer vehicle maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
- Operate cars, light trucks, and vans with both manual and automatic transmissions.
- Manage time effectively and contribute as a customer-service-focused team player.
