About The Position

The Express Lube Technician performs vehicle maintenance according to dealership and factory standards. The role is on-site in Paramus, New Jersey, and reports to the Service Manager. The technician also inspects vehicles and communicates appropriate maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.

A high school graduate or equivalent is required, and applicants must be at least 18 years old. The workplace is drug-free, and the employer is committed to equal employment opportunity.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• At least 1 year of experience as an express or quick lube technician.
• Ability to operate cars, light trucks, and vans with both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned vehicle maintenance following dealer and factory standards.
• Perform minor maintenance, such as changing engine oil and filters.
• Complete vehicle maintenance inspections, including checking tires, brakes, and fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.
• Manage time and contribute as a customer-service-focused team player.
