About The Position

Bergstrom Automotive is hiring an Express Lube Technician at Madison Chevrolet in Madison, Wisconsin. The role performs oil changes, fluid checks, vehicle inspections, and tire rotations while providing friendly, informative service to guests. Technicians keep their work bays clean and organized and work as part of a fast-paced team. The position offers a stated career progression from Express Lube Technician through Apprentice Technician, C-Tech, B-Tech, A-Tech, Shop Foreman, Service Manager, and Platform Manager. The schedule includes shifts between Monday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Starting pay is $17 to $20 per hour, based on experience, with an additional $2 per hour worked on Saturdays.

Requirements

Basic automotive knowledge or the willingness and ability to learn quickly.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and work on one's feet.
A team-oriented approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes and fluid checks efficiently and to a high standard.
Inspect filters, belts, and other key vehicle systems.
Rotate tires and check air pressure.
Keep service bays clean and organized.
Provide friendly, informative service to every guest.
