About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking an Express Lube Service Advisor to join their Honda Service team at Kendall Honda of Eugene. This role is crucial in building lifelong service customers by being the first point of contact for clients. The service department operates in a fast-paced environment, and the advisor will be responsible for interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring work is performed correctly, researching vehicle history for recommendations, managing customer information, and communicating with customers via phone, email, and chat. The goal is to provide an unrivaled customer experience through a motivated, knowledgeable, and caring team.

Requirements

High level customer service experience
Demonstrated time management skills
Strong work ethics
Strong communication skills
Ability to make Honda repair recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance
Proven strong customer service skills
Ability to multi-task
General knowledge of automobiles and their maintenance
A valid driver’s license
A good driving record

Nice To Haves

Dealership experience is preferred
Experience in service writing is not required

Responsibilities

Interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance
Verifying work was properly performed and diagnosed
Researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations
Inputting and maintaining customer information
Completing work tasks in an efficient and organized manner
Using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers
Scheduling service appointments
Justifying Honda express lube work such as oil and filter changes, tire rotations, flat tire repairs, transmission drain and fill services, brake fluid exchanges, transfer case fluid exchange, rear differentials, HVAC sterilization and air/cabin filter replacements.
