About The Position

The Express/Entry Lube Technician performs vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The role builds customer loyalty by developing trust and confidence in AutoNation as a caregiver for vehicle safety and reliability. Technicians perform work efficiently and accurately, coordinate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors, document work on repair orders, and keep current with factory technical bulletins and training. Success is measured by targeted production and Customer Satisfaction Index results. The position offers paid training, OEM certification support, and potential career paths in service, sales, management, regional, and executive roles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record that is maintained.
• Passion for cars and customer service.

• Experience as an express or quick-lube technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance work described on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training as appropriate.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
