About The Position

Masters Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is hiring an experienced HVAC installation technician for its residential change-out market. The position installs, modifies, and overhauls air conditioning systems, furnaces, and related accessories. The technician takes ownership of leading a high-performing installation team and may also maintain or repair HVAC systems. The role is based out of the company’s Fort Wayne, Indiana office. The posting advertises a $5,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay with bonuses or commissions, and describes six-figure earning potential. The successful candidate will bring strong trade skills, a customer-focused approach, sound judgment, and a team-oriented attitude. They will also guide and develop less experienced technicians and help train the next generation of HVAC professionals. Requirements

• At least 5 years of HVAC installation experience.
• Journeyman-level HVAC experience.
• Ability to guide, motivate, and develop others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and attention to detail.
• Planning, organization, problem analysis, and sound judgment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and achieve shared goals.
• Commitment to customer service and continued learning.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• EPA certification is required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus; Masters will pay for the candidate to obtain it if they do not have it.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification.

• HVAC service and repair experience.
