About The Position

Masters Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC installer for residential change-out work. The role installs, modifies, and overhauls air conditioning systems, furnaces, and related accessories. The installer takes ownership of leading a high-performing installation team, supports and develops less experienced technicians, and may also maintain or repair HVAC systems. The position is based out of the company’s Fort Wayne, Indiana office. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is advertised; EPA certification is required to be eligible for the bonus, and the company will pay for the certification if needed.

Requirements

At least 5 years of HVAC installation experience, with Journeyman experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
EPA certification is required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus; the company will pay for the employee to obtain it if they do not have it.
Ability to guide, motivate, and develop others.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, active listening, and attention to detail.
Sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
Planning and organizing skills.
Team-oriented approach and commitment to excellent customer service.

Nice To Haves

HVAC certification.
Experience with ServiceTitan or a similar system.
HVAC service and repair experience.

Responsibilities

Guide, motivate, mentor, and develop less experienced technicians.
Maintain or repair HVAC systems in addition to performing installations, as applicable.
