Experienced Engineer, Process Integration Engineering (PIE)
About The Position
The 14nm Product Process Integration Engineer (PIE) holds accountability for products serving specific customers throughout their lifecycle, from new product introduction (NPI) through high-volume mass production. The role drives systematic yield enhancement to maximize profitability and quality, and leads yield-loss investigations by using data and insights from the Yield Analysis team to identify root causes. The PIE collaborates with owners of each unit process layer to define, validate, and implement Best Known Methods (BKMs) that support consistent quality across the fab. The role also maintains customer-facing relationships through regular progress meetings, expectation management, and follow-up on technical action items to support customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Engineering degree focused on Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related listed discipline.
- At least two years of experience in semiconductor processes.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis using JUMP or Spotfire.
- Strong technical communication skills with clients.
Responsibilities
- Own 14nm products for multiple customers.
- Spread Best Known Methods (BKMs).
- Monitor and troubleshoot inline, ET, and yield trends.
- Follow up on excursion actions.
- Attend customer meetings and follow up on action items.
- Drive yield enhancement and investigate yield losses to identify root causes.
- Collaborate with unit process layer owners to define, validate, and implement BKMs.
