About The Position

The Arbors of Shelburne is seeking a compassionate Experienced Caregiver to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The position is available full or part time, with the listed full-time overnight schedule of 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Compensation is up to $26.50 per hour. Caregivers assist residents with activities of daily living, document care and report changes in residents’ health or behavior, engage residents in meaningful activities, and provide emotional support. They use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional, meaningful care and perform other duties as needed. Requirements

A valid LNA license is not required, but is a plus.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
A valid LNA license is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
Perform other duties as needed.
