About The Position

The Arbors of Shelburne is seeking experienced Caregivers to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The role is offered for full evening shifts from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. or night shifts from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., with pay up to $26.50 per hour.

Caregivers assist residents with activities of daily living, document care and report changes in residents’ health or behavior, engage residents in meaningful activities, and provide emotional support. They use customer-service skills to provide exceptional, meaningful care and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• A valid LNA license is not required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer-service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
