About The Position

Gold Star GMC in Salinas, California, is hiring motivated, driven, and customer-focused Experienced Automotive Sales Associates. The role offers the opportunity to work in a high-volume dealership with a busy showroom and established customer base. Compensation is performance-based, with annual earning potential of $50,000–$200,000 and multiple bonus and incentive programs. The position is full-time and in person.

Requirements

At least one year of sales experience.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
Relatively clean driving record.
Must have or obtain the required sales license.
Ability to work full-time, including weekends.
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, and comfortable in a high-volume, competitive sales environment.

Nice To Haves

Automotive dealership sales experience preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist customers throughout the vehicle purchasing process, from initial contact through delivery.
Build customer relationships and provide an exceptional buying experience.
Develop and maintain product knowledge of new and pre-owned vehicles.
Merchandise and maintain attractive vehicle displays.
Generate leads through phone skills, marketing, and proactive follow-up.
Follow up with prospective customers to maximize sales opportunities.
Work toward individual and dealership sales goals.
Maintain a professional, energetic, and customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
