About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Auto Painter with at least five years of professional automotive painting experience to prepare vehicles for customers at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The role involves painting vehicles with base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. The position uses state-of-the-art tools in a fast-paced production environment. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees and describes opportunities for skills and pay to progress with the company. Mandatory overtime may be required when needed to meet customer delivery commitments. Employees may sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold and must use applicable safety equipment.

Requirements

At least five years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
