Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a full-time painting position
• Valid driver's license with dependable transportation
• Physical ability to lift 75+ pounds and work from ladders/elevated surfaces
• Ability to travel throughout our service area, including Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Charlotte, and Mason
• Must have the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting
• Experience using airless spray
• Experience preparing surfaces
• Experience applying specialty coatings
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of completing high-quality work independently and with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Fully prepare interior and exterior surfaces (sanding, patching, masking, and covering)
• Properly apply paints, stains, and specialty coatings
• Use various brushes, rollers, and airless spray equipment to fulfill the unique needs of each project
• Keep work area safe and clean
• Communicate professionally with customers or team members
