About The Position

Carvana is hiring Auto Painters to work in its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves priming vehicles and performing final sanding before painting, as well as buffing, touch-up work, paint mixing, and airbrushing. The posting requires at least one year of professional automotive painting experience. Entry-level training programs are offered to help employees develop their skills and progress in pay.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive painting experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must pass a complete background check.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prime vehicles and perform final sanding before painting.
• Buff vehicles and perform touch-up work.
• Mix paint and perform airbrushing.
