About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Auto Painter to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves painting vehicles with base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. The position requires at least five years of professional automotive painting experience. Carvana describes itself as a fast-growing used automotive retailer and prepares vehicles at Reconditioning Centers, where cars are inspected, perfected, and photographed before being listed on its website. The role is in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may involve exposure to heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Applicants must be at least 18, have a valid driver’s license, be able to read, write, speak, and understand English, and pass a complete background check. Some positions may also require a motor vehicle records check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least five years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Successful completion of a complete background check.
Some positions may be subject to a motor vehicle records check.
