About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the North Palm Beach, Florida area. The position has a five-day work week and offers hourly pay—not flat-rate pay—of $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales; commissions range from $400 to $1,400. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees may also earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed by the company. The technician maintains and repairs customers’ vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, completes agreed-upon repairs, and performs regular vehicle maintenance. The role emphasizes competent, trustworthy work and fast, friendly customer service. Atlantic Coast Enterprises (ACE) is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman’s terms.
Responsibilities
