About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. The role offers a five-day work week and an hourly rate of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales, with stated commission amounts ranging from $400 to $1,400. Hourly compensation and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Employees may earn a one-time $500 bonus for certifications earned while employed by the company. The technician diagnoses and repairs vehicle problems, explains repair options to customers, completes approved repairs, and performs regular vehicle maintenance. The role emphasizes competent, reliable service and clear communication with customers. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have personal tools.

- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.

Responsibilities
