About The Position
CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is hiring an Experienced Audit Associate to serve nonprofit clients in New England. The role performs significant audit and other assurance engagements, builds client relationships, and provides close personal attention to client needs. The position is in-office and based at one of CLA’s New England offices. The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is $65,000–$106,000.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant professional services experience; completed internships may qualify.
- Ability to travel to client sites, including infrequent overnight travel.
Nice To Haves
- Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures involving industry-specific issues.
- Audit complex areas or transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
- Schedule, delegate, and review staff work.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
- Keep the Manager or Principal informed about engagement status and issues.
- Proactively communicate with clients and gather information to support timely engagement wrap-up.
