About The Position

Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, is hiring a seasonal part-time Expeditor. The Expeditor is the link between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, matching food items with incoming tickets and delivering orders promptly. The role supports dining-room service by maintaining supplies and workstations, ensuring menu items meet ticket specifications, assisting servers, and keeping the dining area clean and ready for guests. Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays, is required. The position is eligible for service charge and employee meals, subject to applicable plan terms and company policies.

Responsibilities

Ensure materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation.
Know the position of each diner’s chair in the dining rooms and lounges.
Set the outside line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and other items needed to deliver food.
Organize plates in the window and match each plate with its ticket before running food to tables.
Set tables in accordance with Troon Golf standards.
Ensure each menu item is prepared to the exact details on its ticket.
Consult with the chef to correct any menu item that does not meet ticket specifications before delivering it.
Fill and refill water glasses and remove unused place settings.
Clear dishes from in front of guests when they complete a course.
Clear and reset tables after guests leave, including changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, positioning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins.
Assist servers when needed.
Keep workstations stocked with items and ingredients.
Clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
Perform other duties as required.
