Chompie’s was founded in 1979 by the Borenstein Family, bringing classic family recipes from Queens, New York to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2019, JRI Hospitality welcomed Chompie’s to its family. Today, Chompie’s operates full-service restaurants with an in-house bakery. JRI Hospitality, founded in 2011, operates 80+ restaurants in 11 states, including Chompie’s, and continues to grow, creating unique career opportunities.
