About The Position
At Chompie’s Restaurant and Deli, a JRI Hospitality brand, Expediters help deliver exceptional hospitality by ensuring food orders are correct, meet quality standards, and are presented properly and promptly. The role supports a positive guest dining experience while following health and safety regulations. Expediters develop complete knowledge of menu items, accompanying sides, plate presentations, ticket-time standards, recipes, portion control, and company specifications. They complete dine-in and To Go tickets quickly and accurately, work collaboratively with coworkers, and maintain positive relationships with guests. Team members are expected to arrive on time for scheduled shifts, maintain regular and predictable attendance, and wear the proper uniform with a neat, professional appearance. A current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification must be acquired and maintained.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be available to work flexible shifts, including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Learn all menu items, accompanying sides, proper plate presentations, and company ticket-time standards.
- Follow recipes, portion control requirements, and specifications to uphold company quality standards.
- Complete food tickets quickly and accurately, including To Go orders.
- Provide high-quality guest service and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Acquire and maintain a current Maricopa County Food Service Worker Certification.
- Collaborate with coworkers and maintain positive relationships with coworkers and guests.
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, maintain regular and predictable attendance, and wear the proper uniform with a neat, professional appearance.
