About The Position

This role involves end-user support work focused on live NATO exercises, rather than a traditional ticket queue. You will be responsible for preparing, configuring, and deploying end-user kits used in Allied exercises at a NATO CIS support unit in Bydgoszcz. This is a collaborative role, with two individuals being hired for this position.

Requirements

  • Real end-user IT support experience with desktops, laptops, and peripherals in an enterprise or operational environment.
  • Experience with device setup, reimaging, and software installation as routine tasks.
  • Hands-on experience in a VDI environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Windows.
  • Basic networking skills, including IP addressing, connectivity checks, and Wi-Fi/LAN fault troubleshooting.
  • Comfort working with documented procedures and checklists.
  • Experience logging work in a ticketing or ITSM system.
  • English language proficiency at C1 or strong B2 level (STANAG 6001 Level 3).
  • An active security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Reimaging and configuring workstations and laptops to approved baselines.
  • Running approved update and patching activities according to schedule.
  • Administering user accounts and access rights based on authorized requests.
  • Preparing, deploying, and recovering CIS equipment for exercises and operational activities.
  • Maintaining complete, accurate, and auditable records of all performed tasks.
  • Supporting other CIS service areas within the unit that involve endpoints.
