As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain required access-control records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Document observations, patrol activities, and incidents accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
