As a Security Officer Entry Authorization with Active Clearance in Palm Bay, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
  • Maintain accurate reports and documentation of access activity, incidents, and shift observations while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
