About The Position

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol in Pleasanton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations in accordance with site protocols, helping to support restricted area control and compliance with location requirements.
Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns, and relay important information during shift changes and to site leadership.
