About The Position

The Executive Team Leader Overnight Inbound Operations (Assistant Manager Logistics) role focuses on leading inbound operations, ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. This role is responsible for managing the inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise areas. Additionally, it oversees Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, ensuring a fresh and food-safe experience, and manages pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work to enable efficient delivery to guests. The position offers opportunities for team members to build and develop skills for a career, gaining knowledge in guest service, retail business fundamentals, operations management, and talent management.

Requirements

4 year degree or equivalent experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong business acumen
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Manage conflict, lead and hold others accountable
Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organization
Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis
Learn and adapt to current technology needs

Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds

Responsibilities

Support departmental sales goals, understand your role in sales growth and how your departments and team contribute to and impact total store profitability
Manage the team to be experts in operations and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all inbound processes, including sort, stock and backstock
Develop a strategy and utilize your workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload ensuring areas are guest ready at store open
Create a scheduling plan in partnership with your Team Leaders based off of monthly and weekly business workload and guest traffic
Create a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers on store sales goals
Manage all General Merch backroom and sales floor areas, review all reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve
Enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock and available
Plan, manage and follow-up on organizational and operational change
Anticipate staffing needs, talent plan and recruit – both long and short term
Establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management
Provide service and a shopping experience that meets the needs of the guest
Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; lead team to work in the same way and hold others accountable to this commitment
As a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes
Address store needs (emergency, regulatory visits, etc.)
