About The Position
The Executive Steward provides strategic oversight of stewarding operations across the property at Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor. The role helps deliver memorable guest experiences while maintaining the availability and condition of supplies and food service equipment, enforcing sanitation and safety standards, managing costs, and leading the stewarding team. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily coordination, distribution, storage, and maintenance of china, glassware, linen, silver, and other essential items; ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
- Oversee the security, maintenance, and functionality of food service equipment.
- Develop, implement, and oversee sanitation procedures for food and beverage areas to meet hygiene and safety regulations.
- Monitor department expenses and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality standards.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations to support guest and team member wellbeing.
