About The Position

The Banquet Server provides food and beverage service and helps deliver memorable guest experiences at Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor. The role involves welcoming guests, learning menu items, taking and entering orders, delivering orders, maintaining service areas, clearing tableware, assisting with banquet preparation, and following health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and look for ways to make guests’ experiences special.
• Learn menu items and specials to answer guests’ questions confidently.
• Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly.
• Keep the service station stocked, clean, and organized.
• Remove dishware, glassware, and silverware after meal service and transport them to the dishwashing area.
• Assist with event preparation, including cleaning, arranging and setting banquet tables, and restocking supplies.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
