About The Position

Cohere is seeking an Executive Producer, Executive Communications to own and evolve the company's narrative globally. This role is crucial for Cohere's ambition to become the transatlantic leader in sovereign AI. The position will primarily use video as a medium to share executive voices and tell stories from one of the fastest-growing companies in the dynamic tech space. The role involves partnering directly with C-suite and VP executives to shape how Cohere communicates with customers, partners, and employees. The Executive Producer will translate Cohere's strategic narrative into various content formats, with a focus on video, to enhance both the personal thought leadership profiles of senior executives and the company's overall market narrative. This includes building and executing the narrative across Executive Thought Leadership, Policy Storytelling, and Corporate Storytelling surfaces, developing content strategies, conducting audits of senior voices, creating content playbooks for key milestones, and establishing production functions and AI-enabled workflows.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience building executive and corporate narratives from ideation through execution, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth tech or AI environment
  • Adept at creating production workflows from scratch (stage capture systems, content atomization pipelines)
  • Experience in the high-paced broadcast television environment
  • Experience building trust and rapport with executives and senior leaders naturally
  • Scrappy. Thrives in thinking “outside the box” and finds joy in marrying a problem to its solution
  • Highly organized and process-driven, with strong project management skills and a bias for action
  • Bring high levels of creativity to communications – in format, channel, and storytelling
  • Comfortable navigating organizational dynamics and building strong relationships across all levels
  • Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and knows how to ruthlessly prioritize

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute Cohere's strategic narrative across three storytelling surfaces: Executive Thought Leadership, Policy Storytelling, and Corporate Storytelling
  • Partner with the VP Global Communications on narrative architecture and translating Cohere's narrative into content strategy and execution across the aforementioned three storytelling surfaces
  • Audit and gap analyses across Cohere's senior voices including the co-founding team, CFO, Chief AI Officer, SVP Government Affairs, and various VPs supporting the business
  • Develop content playbooks for predictable inflection moments (regulatory milestones, product launches, customer wins, IPO milestones) to be launched on executive and company pages
  • Partner with Marketing to create content for company accounts
  • Stand up the production function including stage capture systems, content atomization workflows, and freelance crew networks
  • Build AI-enabled workflows using Cohere's own products (Command, North, Embed, Rerank) for transcript-to-asset pipelines, executive prep automation, and narrative consistency
  • Initiate executive stage content capture and distribution at major events with lean, scalable production
  • Conduct executive content audits and gap analyses across senior voices
  • Refine and systematize content production workflows with predictable cadences
  • Develop flagship thought leadership pieces and corporate storytelling output
  • Scale successful surfaces based on impact analysis and team capacity
