The Otipemisiwak Métis Government is seeking an Executive Initiatives Coordinator within the Education, Training and Research Department in Edmonton, Alberta. Reporting to the Manager – Executive Initiatives and Communications, the Executive Initiatives Coordinator provides administration, coordination, and project support to the Manager of Executive Initiatives and Communications and the Education, Training and Research leadership team. The position plays an important role monitoring and supporting the implementation of departmental strategic initiatives, coordinating reporting activities, maintaining planning and tracking tools, and ensuring information is organized, accurate, and available to support effective decision-making. Working closely with the Manager of Executive Initiatives and Communications, the position assists with the coordination of departmental work plans, strategic initiatives, performance reporting, communications activities, and executive support functions. The position also provides administrative and executive support to departmental leadership, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and materials, maintaining records, supporting communications activities, and assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, briefing materials, and correspondence. The Executive Initiatives Coordinator serves as a key point of coordination within the department, helping ensure priorities are organized, deadlines are met, and information flows effectively across teams.
