Executive House Manager and Family Assistant

Sage HausSan Francisco, CA
Onsite

About The Position

We are a high-performing, dual-career couple living in a large home in Russian Hill, San Francisco. Our household includes two children (ages 10 and 13) who are with us 50% of the time. Our schedules are demanding, with long work hours, frequent travel, and a very active family and social life. We currently have strong foundational support in place, including a nanny who manages afternoon care and activities, and cleaners who come twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) handling general cleaning and laundry. As our work and life continue to grow, so has the need for deeper, more consistent home management and organization. We value health, routine, and a home that feels calm and supportive. We are looking for someone who can step in as a true partner in the home—bringing structure, follow-through, and ease to the many moving parts of our daily lives. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who takes pride in creating order, efficiency, and calm within a busy home. They are highly proactive, take ownership without being asked, and follow through consistently. They bring a warm, positive, and intentional energy, are intuitive and emotionally intelligent, able to read the dynamics of a home and support without overstepping. They understand how to operate with discretion and respect in a private household, and are equally comfortable working independently (about 75% of the time) and collaborating when needed. This role requires someone who is deeply organized and systems-oriented, enjoys creating systems that stick, and is aligned with a health-conscious lifestyle and understands the importance of thoughtful, consistent meal prep. They genuinely enjoy this work and take satisfaction in making a meaningful impact on a family’s day-to-day life.
