Executive Assistant

Victory Marine LLCSeattle, WA
$60,000 - $70,000Onsite

About The Position

Freedom Boat Club is the world's largest members-only boat club. Our Seattle-region franchise brings that experience to life every day. Members enjoy access to a professionally maintained fleet without the cost or hassle of boat ownership. No storage, no maintenance, no surprises. Life is better on the water, and we make it simple to get there. We started in 2017 with just 4 boats. Today our fleet has grown to nearly 200, and that kind of growth doesn't happen without the right people behind it. We believe our team members are our most important asset. We operate with a service standard best captured by the idea of "Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen" — extending the same care and respect to one another that we give our members. At FBC, excellence is celebrated, individual growth is encouraged, and everyone (teammates and members alike) finds freedom. We're a small, close-knit team. We move with purpose, have big dreams, take genuine pride in what we do, and look for people who bring that same energy.

  • HR experience — familiarity with HR processes, employee lifecycle, or people operations in any capacity
  • ADP or similar HR/payroll platform experience
  • Compliance or L&I experience — Washington state employment law, workers' compensation, or regulatory monitoring

  • Self-directed and comfortable with evolving scope
  • A genuine relationship-builder — someone who naturally earns trust and is well-liked across a team

  • Anticipate needs, track open items, and close loops without being asked twice
  • Keep the office running smoothly — uniform management, supply ordering and stocking, scheduling, and day-to-day logistics

  • Build and maintain simple internal systems and communication practices that keep everyone aligned
  • Plan and coordinate internal company events — team gatherings, recognition moments, and seasonal activities
  • Be an active contributor to team culture: someone who celebrates wins, notices people, and makes the workplace feel a little better just by being present

  • Represent the business with the same warmth and professionalism we bring to every member interaction
  • Ensure safety meetings are scheduled, held, and properly documented
  • Monitor Washington L&I updates and relevant regulatory changes, flagging anything that may affect our operations
  • Take ownership of research, planning, and execution of projects that don't have a natural home elsewhere in the business
