The Executive Assistant will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, helping them focus on advancing CityBus's mission, supporting organizational effectiveness, and strengthening service to the community. This role involves more than just calendar management and office coordination; it requires creating an environment where the CEO is prepared, efficient, thoughtful, and effective daily through strong judgment, seamless communication, and exceptional follow-through. By protecting executive time, managing priorities, anticipating needs, and handling sensitive matters with discretion, this role directly contributes to CityBus's commitment to excellent service, community impact, and a better future for Greater Lafayette. Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of professional or administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain meticulous records.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic with adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Must meet agency standards for motor vehicle licensing.
  • Must meet agency standards for drug screening.
  • Must meet agency standards for criminal background clearance.
