About The Position

The Executive Assistant is a high‑impact, executive partner role supporting senior physician and operational leadership at Loma Linda University Health Care. This position goes well beyond traditional administrative support and functions as a strategic extension of executive leadership. The ideal candidate is a trusted professional who anticipates needs, navigates complexity with sound judgment, and operates with the highest level of discretion and professionalism. This role enables leaders to focus on strategy, execution, and decision‑making across complex clinical, academic, and ambulatory healthcare environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum five years of senior level administrative experience required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality.
  • Proficient in computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others.
  • Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
  • Able to collaborate and accept direction.
  • Able to think critically.
  • Able to manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Able to perform basic math functions.
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload.

  • Able to identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace.
  • Able to see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
