About The Position

NorthWest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to provide advanced administrative, fiscal, and project coordination support to the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for Finance & Administration (CFO/SVP-FA). This role serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, manages sensitive information with discretion, and supports executive priorities, communications, meetings, and cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, and able to manage competing priorities with accuracy in a high-visibility executive environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
  • At least two (2) years of administrative support experience, with demonstrated experience managing confidential information and competing priorities with professionalism and discretion
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CFO/SVP-FA, including calendar management, scheduling, travel, meeting coordination, and logistics
  • Prepare and coordinate executive correspondence, reports, presentations, briefing materials, and communications
  • Manage information flow, track priorities, action items, projects, and deadlines to ensure timely follow-through
  • Support strategic initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional efforts on behalf of the CFO/SVP-FA
  • Conduct research, compile information, and prepare materials to support executive planning and decision-making
  • Support office operations, including records management, purchasing, budget tracking, and administrative processes
  • Serve as a primary contact for the Office of the CFO/SVP-FA and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate executive-level communications, meetings, events, materials, minutes, and follow-up activities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and college goals
