About The Position

Provides executive assistance to the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Medical Officer. The role works independently and regularly exercises discretion and judgment while performing predominantly intellectual and varied work. The position maintains official records and carries out administrative policies.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business management, office management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 5 years of previous experience providing administrative support to a senior-level executive.
• Obtain Notary Public status within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Demonstrated high degree of technical expertise in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, GroupWise, and other standard software programs.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
• Shorthand or speedwriting.

Responsibilities

• Manage executives’ calendars and independently schedule appointments.
• Screen incoming calls and correspondence, responding independently when possible.
• Coordinate project-related tasks, including assigning tasks and monitoring their completion.
• Prepare memorandums explaining administrative procedures and policies to leadership employees, and monitor compliance.
• Arrange programs, events, or conferences by securing facilities and caterers, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling the event budget.
