About The Position

Mirendil is a tech-first company focused on solving core bottlenecks that unlock step-change acceleration across science and technology. Our first goal is to democratize frontier AI R&D across scientific disciplines. We are building a frontier AI research company and training our own models end-to-end. The Role You are two things at once: the operating system for the CEO, and the person who runs the physical home of the company. You'll keep the CEO's days tight and their commitments on track, and you'll run the office so completely that no one else ever has to think about it. Your scope will include facilities, vendors, purchasing and bill pay, team logistics, occasional events and travel, and running the CEO calendar, meeting logistics and travel support. You are the force that makes things feel seamless even when they aren’t.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a trusted right-hand to an executive, founder, or small team, with the ability to handle important work independently.
  • Ability to exercise judgment, work with incomplete information, distinguish what matters, and know when to act or escalate.
  • Exceptional follow-through skills, with the ability to keep multiple moving pieces organized and hold vendors accountable.
  • High standards combined with a low ego; comfortable with both negotiating with vendors and picking up team lunches.
  • Genuine enjoyment in making other people more effective and comfortable.
  • Ability to be in person 6 days a week.

Nice To Haves

  • Broader operational backgrounds are welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Own the CEO’s calendars, travel, expenses, and inbox triage. Prep them for what's next, capture decisions, and turn "we should" into "it's handled." You keep their days focused on the highest-value work and make sure nothing slips through.
  • Manage facilities, vendors, supplies, catering and snacks, seating, security, mail and shipping, and the office space itself. Address issues before they are noticed.
  • Manage catering, snacks, coffee, and daily rituals to keep the team energized.
  • Organize team dinners, offsites, onboardings, and manage the visitor experience for candidates, partners, and investors.
  • Take ownership of the most important unowned tasks, which may include organizing events, managing moves or buildouts, or resolving operational issues.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for tasks such as billing or people operations.
