About The Position

PayPal is seeking an Executive Assistant Business Partner to support the VP leading its Enterprise Systems and Employee Technology organization, which is building an AI-native enterprise across finance, HR, legal, sales, and IT. This is a strategic partner role supporting a fast-moving, data-driven technology executive with a broad, matrixed portfolio—not simply a scheduling role. The successful candidate will understand the organization’s priorities, manage the executive’s calendar independently, and use judgment about when to involve the executive. The role serves as an operational right hand across a wide range of stakeholders, including internal leaders and major technology vendors. It requires familiarity with IT and enterprise systems, discretion with sensitive information, and proactive support that keeps the executive prepared and ensures follow-ups, decisions, and actions are tracked. The position is based in San Jose, California. PayPal’s hybrid model provides three days in the office and two days at the employee’s choice of the PayPal office or home workspace for the majority of employees. Travel is listed as 0%. The stated hourly pay range for the San Jose location is $34.37–$49.18. Additional compensation may include an annual performance bonus or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
